Spirit of the City

The city has a spirit that teaches us tolerance through its harmony with those in it and its uninterrupted dialogue with the four seasons. Cities build bridges to communicate between their beings at the time of floods. The city has a spirit that is able to create the balance required for its residents to live in peace.

This is the spirit of the city that I reflected on my painting through the various confused lines that express communication and building bridges, the harmonious colors that express coexistence, and those spaces between them that express tolerance.

She is now waiting, contemplating, and anticipating with full readiness and preparedness for such a moment, the moment when women will be able to play all their roles, as a responsible person with a position and a developmental partner in order to reach a normal, balanced life.

AlMaria Vol 1

AlMaria

Is the singular of Mawari, and it is a word circulated among the ancestors especially in the vicinity of the people of Najd and others. It goes beyond use according to the topic but in the end it falls under the definition of a sign or indication, or as it is said, it is the secret key in daily life dealings. The four artists participating stand in the (Al-Maria) exhibition under the umbrella of indications, signs and symbols In their artistic experiences, each in his own style, as each artist dealt with a scene of his own, drawing from the past his fragrance, and from the present his future.

AlMaria Vol 2

Al-Maria; means a symbol or a sign in the culture of the Arabian Peninsula. In this year's edition, the exhibition focuses on integrating the four elements; air, water, fire, and earth. On which the lives of the inhabitants of Arabia were based. As a result of deep contemplation, the four artists present untold stories in the daily life of Arabia around moments of integrating these elements.

Life after Life

In today's crowded and luxurious life, Al-Saleem returns to the starting point to contemplate the unlimited forms of life that the interaction of the elements of water and soil can produce. Mud, which forms from mixing water and soil, witnessed many beginnings: The beginning of man's creation and the beginning of the eternal battle between good and evil. However, it also saw the end of many lives. When the water dries in the soil, seeds die and die with it all means of life. Therefore, in her new art project, Al-Saleem decided to contemplate the life journey of traditional mud and its transformations. She presents it as a living element and a silent witness to many other lives around it.
