About me

I am Najla M. AlSaleem an artist born in Riyadh, I am the daughter of Mohammed AlSaleem. I hold a bachelor degree in chemistry in King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah and a bachelor degree in fine arts in Eastern Michigan University, USA.  

I am influenced by the Horizonism style of the desert school, which was the style of my father. I still paint in this technique in my own developed style and personality. 

I am one of the active women in the Saudi society. I executed many courses and workshops in the art field, which teaches students many matters about fine art, including how to form, dough, watercolor applications, and give seminars in fine arts.

I participated in many personal exhibitions and participating exhibitions, including Janadriya exhibition 15, Riyadh Capital of culture exhibition 2001, and the Saudi culture week in China 2010, and the Saudi culture week in UNESCO in Paris 2012. 

I obtained many certificate from the Ministry of Education, the Educational Supervisory Center of the Guard, the Educational training department, the Saudi Culture and Arts Association, the National Guard and Educational Affairs, the Kuwait Society of Fine Arts, the Qatar Society of Fine Arts, and the Tourism Authority of Abu Dhabi.
